Since its inception, Domat Consulting has been conducting research and development activities. Its primary goal is to develop an innovative solution that combines the waste, energy, and environmental industries. Currently, our offering includes several technical and technological solutions, such as:
– biostabilization of municipal waste;
– a comprehensive mechanical-biological waste treatment system;
– a plant-based biofilter for biological waste treatment facilities;
– a high-quality alternative fuel production system for the cement industry.
„Closed Systems for Local Energy Recovery of Municipal Waste”
The latest result of our efforts, achieved in part thanks to collaboration with INiG-PIB in Krakow, AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, SEFAKO S.A., FABET S.A., and P.P.U.H. Eko-Energia Sp. z o.o., is the Research and Development Project launched on April 1, 2019. Its goal is to develop a comprehensive technological solution dedicated to Local Energy Clusters, Local Government Units, and Producer Groups. This solution is titled: „Development of an innovative energy agglomerate in the form of pellets, along with a demonstration production infrastructure and an optimal combustion design.”
This project will be co-financed from external funds through the National Centre for Research and Development under the Smart Growth Operational Programme, Sub-Measure 1.1.1 „Industrial research and development work carried out by enterprises.”

The key outcomes of this Project will be:
- at least three types of alternative fuel (Agglomerate) based on municipal waste, dry sewage sludge, or biomass from agricultural/forestation sources, intended for local energy production and the cement industry;
- an innovative Agglomerate production facility;
- a design for a dedicated low- and medium-power furnace, with the option of adapting traditional boilers, to use the developed Energy Agglomerate;
- a design for a flue gas cleaning module dedicated to the Energy Agglomerate;
- an innovative method for further processing ash management.
The above results allow us to complement our existing offering and offer our clients a complete, comprehensive, and unique economically and ecologically sound solution, called the „Closed System for Local Energy Recovery of Municipal Waste,” which consists of:
- A comprehensive, monitored waste collection and transportation system;
- A waste processing facility: A raw material recovery section from selective collection and an agglomerate production section;
- An agglomerate energy recovery facility with an exhaust gas cleaning system;
- An ash management system.
